The first in the Night Horror series, Grim Fears is also the first book after Equinox Road when believed that there wouldn't be more. Personally, I see Grim Fears as more of a companion to Autumn Nightmares, making it more useful as an ST only book. Though there are several new kiths, merits, goblin fruits, treasures and even a Pledge spread throughout the book that players can make use of. There's just not any handy index to list them out for quick easy reference. What you will find in this book are a number (26 in total) of new antagonists ranging from Hedge Beasts to Fetches to Lost and even Gentry. All throughly fleshed and stated out, with many having a strong foundation in Folklore. And this book is perfect for the ST strapped for time needing an antagonist or plot hooks when working out the night's gaming.
